Chapter 3: Five Letters 1949-1956

ORIGINAL MEMORIES – 1943 to 1960
Volume I
Chapter III

A series of five letters written alternately by Thea and Philip, presumably sent to our parents and possibly other family members. These were pre-Xerox days, so the letters were typed with carbons. Obviously the copy we kept was the last carbon. The paper is all in good condition, but this Xeroxed copy is probably easier to read than the “originals.” The heading on the 1955 letter suggests that we may have a retyped copy, probably done by my mother Muriel Miller Hodge or grandfather Max Elwyn Miller.
